The Lyon Foundation was established in February 2012 as a new Australian not-for-profit public art museum.

This website outlines some of the initiatives and activities undertaken by the Foundation since its inception. These include the establishment and building of a permanent collection of Australian contemporary art and the construction of a new public museum building to house and display the Foundation's permanent collection.
